Please arrive 10 – 15 minutes before the class starts as there will be some paperwork for you to complete and get changed into a gi (uniform). Please also bring a drink of water to keep yourself hydrated and suitable footwear (Sliders or flip flops work best) to wear when off the mats. Remove any jewellery and/ or piercings and before getting on the mats.
We’ll start with a warm up which includes some compound moves (star jumps, squats & press-ups) to get the blood flowing, followed by some basic movements on the ground to get us prepared for the techniques (don’t worry, there will be plenty of support on hand if needed). The class will then move onto the 16-week curriculum. This will include self-defence and Jiu-Jitsu ground techniques.
